Debt payoff spreadsheets with a complete payment trail

Build a repayment plan, record actual balances and inspect a single loan schedule. Download three original Excel workbooks with editable inputs and formulas.

Use the invented USD example first. The planner keeps five account rows, rolls freed-up payments into the next priority and exposes a budget shortfall instead of inventing a debt-free date. No signup or account connection is required.

Choose a forecast or an actual record

The multi-debt planner estimates future payments under one chosen strategy. The balance tracker records amounts you already owe on dated statements. The loan schedule estimates a fixed-rate instalment loan. These answer different questions: a falling forecast is not evidence that your actual balances have fallen.

Inspect the calculation before replacing inputs

The example starts with $9,200 across three active accounts and two unused zero-balance rows. A $500 monthly budget, the stated minimum-payment rule and snowball priority produce a modelled 21-month payoff and $957.97 of interest. This result assumes no new spending, fees or rate changes. It is an illustration, not an estimate of your account terms.

Blue inputs are editable. The planner has a single strategy selector, changing percentage-based minimums and optional monthly budget overrides. Its detailed ledger shows every account’s opening balance, interest, minimum, allocated extra, total payment and closing balance for up to 360 months.

Use the right source balances

Check your statements for current balances, APRs, required minimums and due dates. The workbook’s generic minimum rule must be compared with your creditor’s actual formula. Credit cards can accrue interest daily and contain several rate categories. A monthly APR/12 model cannot reproduce every statement.
