How the calculation works
Seller revenue = item + charged shipping + gift wrap, excluding remitted tax. Transaction fee = 6.5% of seller revenue. Processing = 3% of (seller revenue + tax) + $0.25. Listing allocation = $0.20 × charges. Offsite fee = chosen rate × seller revenue, capped at $100. Profit subtracts fees and entered costs.
Worked example
For a $50 item, $5 charged shipping, $4 remitted tax, $20 product cost, $5 postage and one listing charge, estimated fees are $5.80 and profit is $24.20 with no Offsite Ad. A 15% attributed Offsite Ad adds $8.25, reducing profit to $15.95.
