ALLMARKETS / THE TOOL DESK

EDITORIAL & CALCULATION POLICY

Transparent by design.

These tools perform bounded arithmetic. They do not select investments, recommend an allocation or predict business performance.

What we publish

AllMarkets publishes free, English-language tools with visible formulas, illustrative examples and primary or specialist reference links. One substantive calculation gets one canonical page; closely related terms share the same tool.

How inputs are handled

Calculations run in your browser. Input values are not sent to an API, saved to local storage or added to the URL. The copy button acts only when you request it. Ordinary web-server logs can include page requests and IP addresses.

Precision and assumptions

JavaScript floating-point arithmetic is used. Displayed results are rounded, usually to two decimals; very small values use extra precision. Calculators are not accounting ledgers or order-entry systems. Every tool states excluded fees, taxes or model conditions. Defaults are fictional worked examples.

Sources and verification

Source links are checked when the tool is published. Automated checks compare known examples, input bounds and special cases; browser checks cover responsive layouts and interactions. AI assisted research and implementation. No licensed financial reviewer or professional certification is claimed.

Corrections

If an output seems wrong, first check units, currency, time period and whether fees are entered as a percentage or a cash amount. Use the main site’s contact options to report the tool name, non-sensitive example inputs and the expected calculation.
