Stock Analysis Screener: Coverage, Access & Export Checklist
Inspect Stock Analysis screening workflow, documented access boundaries and a concrete data-verification task.
Documented research workflow
Separate stock and ETF screeners plus comparison and holdings research tools.
Access and package boundaries
A free entry tier is documented. Pro lists saved stock screens and one daily download to Excel, CSV or Google Sheets; package limits remain relevant.
What to verify
Free entry is not unlimited access to saved screens, full history, holdings or export. Fund holdings and a fund-level ratio are different research objects.
A practical acceptance task
Compare one stock screen and one ETF screen, inspect valuation/expense-ratio definitions and verify whether the desired columns and export count are in the selected plan.
Keep the research reproducible
Record the universe, active filters, financial period, quote timing and source version. Re-run a small example before replacing an existing research process. A result count can change as data updates or the available universe changes.
Separate selection from performance
A screen narrows a source dataset. It does not establish a causal explanation, a diversified allocation or a historical return. Inspect filings, fund documents, liquidity and the suitability of the underlying research question before using the output.
