The complete catalogue: 20 opportunities and 157 sources

Updated October 14, 2026. This edition contains every existing opportunity, translated into English, plus six newly researched topics. The previous edition had fourteen opportunities and 112 source URLs. This release adds 45 distinct source URLs after normalization. Complete means the full accumulated catalogue; it does not mean every possible software market has been researched.

What the catalogue contains

Evidence typeRecordsInterpretation
User discussions95Self-reports and requests, not verified purchasers
Vendor pages32Advertised features and prices, not sales figures
Substitutes8Existing or free ways to solve the task
Platform documents13Native features and technical constraints
Builder promotions9Supply-side signals, excluded from independent demand

140 source pages were opened; 17 records rely on search-extracted text. These are two views of the same dataset, not extra sources. A page opening is an access check, not independent verification of every claim. Some prices on opened pages remain search-extracted where dynamic text could not be read; individual notes identify those limitations.

There are 10 candidates to investigate, 7 on the watchlist and 3 deprioritized generic products. No proposed opportunity has a verified paid pilot. The mostly English-language, purposive sample cannot estimate market size or complaint prevalence. Quora and a systematic paid-job dataset are not part of this release.

Six new directions

  1. WordPress update regression review: compare post-update journeys with existing visual-regression products. A screenshot difference is not automatically a defect.
  2. Client-account handoff: clarify ownership, permissions and transfer acceptance. Start with a bounded service rather than a new credential vault.
  3. Feed-to-storefront price auditing: diagnose exact variant, visible price, structured data and feed discrepancies. Existing validators are direct competitors.
  4. Download entitlement diagnosis: distinguish intended WooCommerce file behavior from migration and permission defects before proposing a repair.
  5. Invoice follow-up queues: avoid reminders to already-paid customers; native invoicing reminders weaken a generic new product.
  6. Manually arranged appointment confirmation: test the precise staff-booking path rather than assume public online deposits solve every case.

The full sector reports contain source links, competitor comparisons and stop conditions. As examples of counterevidence, AdTribes already offers a feed validator, and WooCommerce documentation explains native download access. Square's US documentation distinguishes online deposits from appointments booked by staff. These narrow observations do not establish a market-wide gap.

Practical starting point

Attachment routing, supplier-file preparation and supplier-price comparison can produce a bounded result before a broad SaaS exists. WooCommerce configuration, quotations and feed diagnosis may also be legitimate implementation businesses. This is an editorial judgement based on scope and existing substitutes, not a probability-of-success score.

Generic form monitoring remains on the watchlist because inbox verification already exists. Generic bank conversion, creative approvals and partial pickup are deprioritized because of strong alternatives or weak differentiation. Revisit them only when a specific buyer shows an unmet recurring workflow.

Monetization without invented forecasts

The calculator multiplies assumed price and buyers; it does not predict demand. At a hypothetical $199 setup fee, 4% processing cost and four hours valued at $25/hour, $91.04 remains before acquisition, taxes and other overhead. At eight hours, the same job loses $8.96 before those costs. These are illustrative inputs, not measured unit economics.

A $29 monthly plan is almost consumed by one support hour at the assumed $25/hour. A service-first pilot should therefore measure setup and recurring support before becoming a subscription. One-time revenue must never be represented as MRR.

Coverage and next evidence

Open each card to see the next experiment and a reason to stop. The validation playbook provides task-specific checks. Product execution, interviews, registrations and payment collection have not been carried out as part of this research. New releases should add verified incidents, explicit paid-job budgets and results of authorized pilots rather than simply increase source counts.
