Limits to check
Self-hostable is not the same as offline: quote and market-data integrations may contact external services. Hosting, backups and upgrades have operating costs. Hosted-plan pricing and account sync are not verified here.
A practical migration test
Inspect the current licence and deployment configuration. Import a copied example, check missing-price handling and verify a database backup can restore your instance.
Preserve an independent copy of dated trades, fees, cash flows and valuation sources. Import compatibility and a displayed market value do not prove a fully reconciled return history. Try a small copied example and inspect export before replacing your primary record.
