ALLMARKETS / THE TOOL DESK

Calculation methodology

A useful result needs clear inputs, a visible formula and an honest boundary.

Assumptions, not advice

These tools perform bounded arithmetic from your inputs. They do not determine legal obligations, lender approval, investment suitability or future returns. Each page describes its exclusions and includes an independently worked example.

Sources and validation

AllMarkets uses linked primary or specialist references for definitions and background. AI assisted implementation. Known numerical cases, invalid inputs and responsive browser behaviour are tested. No licensed reviewer or professional certification is claimed.

Privacy and export

Ordinary calculations use page memory. On selected tools, explicit scenario saving can retain inputs in this browser. They are not sent to a calculation API or stored in cookies. CSV is generated locally when requested; it contains result labels and values. Ordinary hosting logs can record page URLs and IP addresses.

Precision

Calculations use floating-point arithmetic. Most displayed results round to two decimals; CSV retains numeric precision. They are estimates, not a payroll ledger, bank statement or binding quote. Rounding rules and model-specific limits appear with each calculator.

Corrections

Check currency, units and time periods first. Report a suspected error using the main site contact options, including the tool name and a non-sensitive example.

Optional saved and shared scenarios

Selected tools offer independent scenario comparisons. Save stores numeric inputs and valid payment schedules only after you choose that action; Load recalculates them and Delete removes this tool’s saved scenario. Clearing browser storage also removes it. No account or synchronization is provided.

A scenario link puts inputs in the URL fragment. Anyone receiving the link can inspect them, so share illustrative values. Free-text names, account identifiers and notes are not accepted by the scenario format. Calculation and comparison exports are generated locally. These functions do not determine financial suitability or future outcomes.
