Webull paperTrade: paper access and simulation limits
A multi-asset practice environment with distinct new and legacy implementations.
Selected workflow
Live-market simulation
Access and account requirements
New versus legacy paper environment and client/platform availability must be checked.
Market-data conditions
Current new system is documented for mobile and desktop; web retains the legacy workflow.
Simulation boundaries
The current help page distinguishes order types and option strategy support by system generation. Do not apply the new mobile/desktop feature list to legacy web, or a live Trading API feature to a paper API.
A practical verification exercise
Record new or legacy mode and platform version. Test an order modification and the intended option strategy in that exact environment; do not assume live and paper lifecycle equivalence.
Record the exact account mode and date. Reconcile requested quantity, fill time, fee and residual position using a copied statement. A product described as multi-asset may still have different permissions, data or order types in a particular account.
Primary evidence
Webull new and legacy paper systems
Checked 17 October 2026; published documentation, not an authenticated account or live execution test. Paper API: not established here; this is not proof of absence.
